In recent days, Qixiang Tengda has put its factory into full gear with prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic in place. Many governmental officials of municipal level and provincial level, including Liu Qiang, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, have visited Qixiang Tengda since March.

On March 13, Liu Qiang, Vice Governor of Shandong visited Qixiang Tengda. Liu Qiang listened to the report of Che Chengju, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Qixiang Tengda over the company's operation, production, construction, development and foreign trade. During the visit, Liu Qiang learned in detail about how the company can benefit from financial policy support. He urged Qixiang Tengda to ensure safety production with COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention in place. He also encouraged Qixiang Tengda to build on the industrial chain to become a larger, stronger and specialized company that contributes to the local economy.

On March 21, Li Yonggang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Laizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Laizhou visited Qixiang Tengda. During the visit, Mr Li appreciates Qixiang Tengda for what it has done in construction & development, production & operation and transitioning from old to new growth drivers.

On April 2, Han Guoxiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zibo Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Zibo Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and Liu Shuguang, Deputy Director of the CPC Zibo Municipal Party Committee, visited Qixiang Tengda Industrial Park to check on its safety production and green practice. During the visit, Han Guoxiang and Liu Shuguang recognized Qixiang Tengda's achievements in transformation and upgrade of safety production and green practice as well as improvement of on-site management in its factory.

As the core of Cedar Chemical Group, Qixiang Tengda set three world records in fine chemicals - the world largest producer of methyl ethyl ketone and maleic anhydride as well as the world most advanced butadiene process technology master. Qixiang Tengda ranked 302nd on the 2019 Fortune China 500. In 2020, Qixiang Tengda will continue to work on breakthrough on key technology constraining the development of China's chemical industry and build an advanced chemical industry cluster.
