On October 27, Rong Zhiqin,Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization（SHEITC）visited Guangzhou headquarters of Cedar Holdings and had a meetingwith Li Shangrong, President of Cedar Holdings.
Mr Rong appreciated CedarHoldings for the impressive competitiveness in commodities supply chain it hasshown in the past several years as a distinctive Fortune Global 500 company inthe Greater Bay Area. He expected to see economic exchange and resource combinationbetween the Yangtze River Delta and the Greater Bay Area, which will help Cedargain a stronger foothold in the market of Yangtze River Delta.
According to Mr Li, based inGuangzhou, Cedar Holdings has established an all-encompassing internationalcommodities network, superior to any of its peers in China through non-stopglobal expansion. He hoped that Cedar Holdings would follow the guideline ofthe Greater Bay Area development and Yangtze River Delta integration to furtherexpand its global supply chain and international network. In this way, thecompany will be able to make greater contribution to the new developmentpattern.
